This press conference started out about the Taiwan issue, but towards the end she also answered questions about other matters. They have a professional rivalry and there was bad publicity about Senator Legarda having undeclared properties in the US which implies she has hidden wealth, and rumors pointing to Senator Cayetano as the source of the bad publicity. This is the english translation: Reporter: "The decision of the president which is to relegate the job of talking to Senator Cayetano to Secretary Roxas, can we interpret that body language to mean that he took Senator Legarda's side, that he was unhappy that senator Cayetano was the source of the negative publicity? Spokesperson Valte: "Perhaps I don't want to interpret the body language or to put any other meaning into... when there's really nothing there. i don't want to second guess the president."
